Education
My qualifications all come from the UK however I have my equivalent to 'Abitur' in English, Media and Music. After high school I achieved an ATCL diploma in Musical Theatre and then I moved down to London from Glasgow to train in my field. I have a BA(Hons) degree in Theatre from the University of Surrey. I also have a distinction from The TEFL education system in Teaching English as a Foreign Language. I also have my B1 Zeugnis in German awarded from the Goethe Institute in Hamburg and the UNS Sprache Schule
Experience
I have experience in tutoring adults in English, mostly for them to use socially but I have also taught a little on the business side of English. I have also corrected and reviewed some assignments here from native German speakers who are doing a degree taught in English. I have completed my TEFL (teaching english as a foreign language) course, in which I learned lots of different skills to aid people in their foreign language learning. I have also benefited as a tutor because I have gone through the process of learning a foreign language myself. I have experience in dealing with difficult tasks and I know what it is like to perhaps not understand everything, and the importance of having a good teacher. In my opinion, the best way to learn a language is for the tutor and student to only speak in that language.
