Education
I am from the United States and have graduated from an American University in Social Psychology, German, and Business. My undergraduate studies were completed with multiple dean's list semesters and membership as an officer of Psi Chi Honor Society. After graduating in 2012, I taught English for two years in Elementary schools. I have recently graduated from a Cross-Cultural Economic Psychology double masters. The program is a multiple degree program with Tilburg University using both the English and German languages.
Experience
I have a TEFL certificate and have taught English as a native speaker in a foreign country for two years. My students have ranged from a classroom of absolute beginners (kindergarten) to one on one with young business professionals. My students' ages range from 5 to 50 years old with languange skills from basic to proficient. I still tutor some past students via the internet yet I prefer personal interaction when teaching a language. As a Psi Chi Honor Society officer in Shippensburg University, we tutored incoming freshmen in Psychology. My feedback as an instructor prove me to be an engaging teacher. I bring energy in adapting lessons for students so we can focus and accomplish small language goals in improving overall proficiency.
